A fairly new trend just seems to be kicking in. We got used to the recent buzz made around Facebook, Twitter and – more recently – Chatroulette, which are all standing out in their own field, but there is a new lane which galvanizes elements of live interactions, entertainment, social fields and education. Real knowledge isn’t free, but don’t get scared off, the value behind is just worth!
As a vast circle of internet users may find the mentioned sites technically useless labeling them nothing more than a playground for bored teenagers, a new site – RapidHI – also supports the masses as a contenting way of earning money from home, and regular visitors need to pay a small fee for real knowledge, which is nothing compared to the price of sessions where they would have to attend to physically.
Upon visiting RapidHi, we can see a soothing design with simple, self-explanatory areas. The humble surfer can see a list of diverse subjects and live chat hosts who apparently mastered their fields, and provide help or entertainment in their categories they are registered into. The chat hosts can be accessed in a Free Chat area where more members or free guests can participate, but for a small fee the hosts can be taken on 1-on-1 sessions, where the real magic of the website happens.
As you read this, there are currently 5 categories presented on RapidHi: Cooking Tips with self-labeled and convincing Hobby Chefs, Travel Advisors containing people willing to help with any question about their environment, Soul Mates for deep and meaningful talk, Get Fit with personal trainers who support their visitors with health tips, and – most interesting of all – Esoterics, where you can meet future tellers, psychics, gurus, astrologers, etc.
It is not sure, but seems like half of the hosts work from an organized studio, half of them work from home as a supplementary (or even full-time) job. After a short inquiry at the hosts, we learned that they get a fair percentage of the amount the paying Member is spending on the 1-on-1 sessions, and although we got no exact answer on ‘how much?’, but they mentioned it is a pretty convenient income, some of them are already considering to take this as a full-time occupation, when the site’s traffic is well developed; let’s not forget, RapidHi is still in its early stage, new hosts are more than welcome!
The registration process is simple, but any questions arising can be answered by the online support chat they have got, running 24/7. Don’t expect the usual tendency; they are surprisingly helpful, leaving no customer unsatisfied. But literally everything on the site is built up as a keeper, and I expect to visit it more and more, as I am in desperate need of improving my kitchen artistry, plus members of my family are excessively fond in esoterics.
