Getting Free Traffic From The Search Engines

There is no doubt that if you can learn the tricks to ranking your webpages in the search engines, then you stand a very good chance of making a considerable amount of oney with your websites.

In order to do this successfully you need to understand the basic concepts of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This is exactly what we will be focussing on in this article.

On page SEO is very important and is what we are going to look at first. This is where you need to make sure you have the keyword phrase that you are aiming to rank in a page in the search engines for on the actual page in various places.

These include, the title tags of the page, and the meta keywords and description of the page also. After you have made these on page adjustments then you need to make sure that the keywords phrase is in the H1 tags of the page. Next you have to make sure that the keyword phrase is placed through the body text of the page your are trying to rank, at about 1-3% density.

Once you have made sure that your On Page SEO is looking good. You them need to focus on external factors, and this is referred to as Off Page SEO.

Off Page SEO is all about getting backlinks coming into your websites. There are a huge number of ways that you can get links to your pages, and that is what are going to check out now.

The easiest place to get links is to go to social bookmarking sites like Propeller.com and bookmark the webpages that you are wanting to rank in the search engines. There are 100’s of social bookmarking sites on the internet, so in order to make this process easier, you can use free services like Onlywire or Social marker.

Next you may want to take advantage of getting links by submitting articles to article directories. Two great ones are Ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com. There is also other great tools that are paid, one of my favourites is found at eamarketingtools.com.

Forum and blog commenting are two other great places that you can get links, and to find these sites you can simply search for them in Google. There is also a free tool called Comment Kahuna which is helpful for finding blogs in your niche, but to be honest it is not fantastic.

You can also buy links, but this is something that you want to make sure you do wisely as Google can frown upon link farms. However if you have money to spare and want to speed things up a bit then go to the Digital Point Forum and buy high PR links there.

Finally a great overall traffic driving courser is Google Snatch and you can find out more about that product here: Google Snatch Ultimatum Review
